Future Game

Recently, gullwhacker showed me a trailer for an upcoming independent game. It's made by one of the creators for Aquaria which is a beautiful game to look at.

It's called Marian and it looks like it will be a very pretty game.

Marian is a beautifully carved marionette who rips her strings from the grasp of ‘The Narrator’ and becomes her own master. Caught in the dream world between life and death, she uses her own puppet strings as a tool in her quest to discover her true identity – and maybe even true love.

I want to play this. Seriously, how can you argue "games aren't art" after seeing this trailer.

That does look lovely--and the summary sounds very interesting. Is this going to be a PC game?

I think so (Aquaria was also a PC game), but I'm assuming they'll be making a MAC version too. I can't wait. ^_^

It does and Aquaria was was rather poetic too. What's neat is that it's an independent and the guy is trying to make the game out of his own pocket money (and is accepting donations to do so.)

Awesome! I saw the comic in a few comic stores, so I was hopeful it was becoming more available.
