I'm glad you had fun. Smaller cons may have fewer guests and panels; but they have a lot of charm when the right people are involved. Personally, I got a little burnt out on big cons ever since the San Diego Comic Con started growing and mutating like that kid at the end of Akira. >_<
It's always a blast finding cosplayers from obscure shows! If I were a better seamstress (and less camera shy) I'd totally make it my mission to represent shows that don't get enough fandom love. :)
