Slayers Abridged Review Episode 12

The second to last review. I'm going to miss doing this. ;_;





The episode starts with the Ozel fans still trying to recover from the last episode.



Zelgadis isn't happy and we really can't blame him.



Does anyone else think hearing a man's voice coming from a kid's body is really weird?



Taforashia lives! Yay!



And Zel is slightly confused, as are we, when Rezo asks for his help.



Pokota's dad reads a letter from him.



Come on Pokota! Go hug your dad! We know you want to!



Another cute eyecatch! (there's a lot of cute ones this season).



Celebrate, good times! Come on!



Until we find out everything isn't as it seems. Dang it! I knew it was too good to be true.



One of the best...



Slayers fights ever! Too bad it couldn't have lasted longer.



Slayers fans know that in this series when somebody opens their eyes, it's never a good thing.
In Rezo's case...

They need to stop tearing at my heartstrings when it's in regard to Pocota. (I'm really hoping that his body isn't overtaken by Shabranigdo and destroyed! He deserves to be human again..)

I liked the interaction between Pokota, Amelia, and Zelgadis this episode.

And IT IS SO CREEPY TO HEAR REZO TALKING FROM POKOTA'S BODY! ARGH! REZO, GIVE POKOTA HIS BODY BACK SO HE CAN BE CUTE AGAIN!

Once again Rezo's character confuses me to no end! I want to feel sorry for him! But then I want to hate him! But then he does something heroic! But then he reveals something evil about himself! But then he opens his eyes and they're warm, soft and sympathetic! Ba! I'm so confused!

Don't worry, you're not the only one! Sure, I'm a crazy fan of him but I'm just as confused of how much he's responsible of as everyone else. i sure hope next episode will reveal more (and this ep's subs as well)!

a while back, I mentioned the possibility that Pokota might ave an adult voice in the dub. To which someone replied by imagining Pokota with Zuuma's rasping voice (I forget who).

Hearing Pokota voiced by Takehito Koyasu reminded me of that. Scary.... (though his voice is awesome)
