A Drabble

I wrote a thank you drabble for the ameliazellove for picking me as the winner of the Gender Switch challenge.

"Zelgadis, have you finished it yet?"

The chimera sipped his coffee and looked at his new wife from across the table. "Finished what Amelia?"

"Writing your thank you letter to Miss Martina?"

Zelgadis sighed as he folded his arms. "Amelia, I thought we agreed that you would handle the thank you letters for the wedding presents and I would just have to sign them."

The princess nodded. "Yes, but Miss Martina made that present specifically for you."

Zelgadis twitched. "Well I don't regard a fertility statue of Zoamelgustar as being much of a wedding gift." The little statue gave Zelgadis the creeps and he recalled Lina making a comment about it giving her nightmares. He and Lina got even more chills down their spines when Martina explained exactly how he was supposed to use the statue.

Zelgadis glanced to Amelia. "Unless, you actually want to...use that statue."

Amelia sweated. "No, but it was still kind of Miss Martina to think of you. You need to thank her."

"Yes, I'll thank her for the nightmares she gave me."

"Zelgadis!"

The chimera sighed. "Fine, I'll write it if it makes you happy."

Amelia smiled. "Good-"

"But only if I get a 'Thank you' in return from you."

Amelia blinked and stood up from the table. "Well all right," she began to walk to her writing desk. "I'll write you a thank you letter too if you really want."

Zelgadis grabbed Amelia's wrist. She gave a surprised yell as he pulled her into his lap. He smiled evilly. "I had another kind of thank you in mind."

Amelia blushed. That's right, she and Zelgadis were married now. Naturally, this could only be one thing.

"And that would be for you to buy me that book I've had my eye on."

Amelia blinked. "A book? Is that it?"

Zelgadis smirked. "Yes, why? Did you have a different 'thank you' in mind? I never knew you had such a dirty mind."

Zelgadis chuckled as Amelia pouted at him and punched him playfully in the arm.

Hee, that is great! It's very cute...plus I just love the idea of Martina gifting them with a fertility statute. XD I really wanna know what this thing looks like, actually.
