Cowboys...Literally
Aug. 29th, 2009 02:52 pmA while back, I made a post about how cartoons when I was a kid seemed to have a better quality when compared to a lot of shows today.
However, I also forgot that we had quite a few odd shows growing up, like this one. Would it surprise anyone to find out that this show was created by the artist of the original Ninja Turtles comics.
The only thing I really remember about this show was the opening song. I'm not sure what this says about the show itself. Although, I will admit the theme song is catchy. (I read on wiki that there is one episode when they actually heard cattle? @_@ How does that work? I can see the Nostalgic Critic having a field day with this show)

Date: 2009-08-29 08:21 pm (UTC)I've seen more than a few cartoons that had awkward things, like these 'cow'boys herding cows, or intelligent dinosaurs trying to interact with regular dinosaurs. It's usually explained away that even if they're of the same family, they're completely different in regard to intelligence. We have it in our own world with our human interactions with chimpanzees and gorillas, which are kin in a sense, but on a completely different level as far as intellect and the like go. Personally, I'm more weirded out by bulls riding on horses!

However, I do agree with you that bulls riding horses are still weird.
