Because I kept noticing how Don Bluth's film moments kept coming in people's "Top 11 Freakiest Moments That Terrified Me as a Child" I started browsing wiki to see if he was planning on working on anything else. It's been a few years since he's last film.

I think the latest was the short Rapunzel animated sequence for that music video. Then, load and behold, I stumbled upon this little tidbit of information.

Warner Bros Family Entertainment and Don Bluth's Jack and the Beanstalk 2011

Huh? I haven't found anything else about it. I'm kind of curious about it though.

Now that's an interesting combination since Warner Brothers closed down its animation studio years ago. Any idea if this is going to be CGI or traditional?

No idea, there's very little information at this point (apparently in 2010, there's going to be Dragon's Lair the movie, but there's little information on that too). However, I'm going to guess traditional since I've never heard or seen Don Bluth having an interest doing CG, but who knows.

I heard about this and the dragon lair one. But, I don't know if they are happening. Like a lot of Bluth movies, it got a lot of budget cuts.

Yeah, and Don Bluth (like most animation companies) have had started projects and never completed them.

On that note, I also stumbled upon this. I have no idea if this was suppose to be a video game or a movie.

His studio did the characters and animations for the video game I-Ninja. That was all 3D. :D

I must be living under a rock cos i haven't seen that Rapunzel clip! (I think it might have been removed since I can't find it anywhere)

I'm quite happy many studios are kicking back into the 2D films. ^_^
