Day #18: Your favorite Pixar film

This was REALLY hard, because I love all the Pixar films, but if I had to pick one:



Okay, so this story doesn't pull you in emotionally as much as Up or Wall-e, but I love Ratatouille. It has a great cast of characters, and an original story and I adore Remy. He's different and is stuck between two worlds, but I love how he has a close family that is willing to help him out. Also, I like how it uses rats instead of just mice in this movie. Rats need love too. Besides that, whenever I watch this movie, it always gives me a craving to cook something, so it has that much of an effect on me. XD

Rats are great and cute pets too. They are kinda like cats. They take care of themselves. But when they want love, they really try to get your attention.

And they're quite cute! I've know people who have had pet rats. My grand five four class had a class pet rat named Spike. XD

I took a friend who loves rats to see this movie, and we both really loved it. They did such a great job capturing rats in animation. I loved watching Remy scamper about.

Something I find cool about this is that someone at Disney actually rigged together an anotronic animated robotic Remy and tested it out to see how people would react. Needless to say, 'Remy' became really popular and is featured over at the Paris resort at a restaurant. (The waiter comes out with a serving tray and lifts the lid to reveal Remy.) I really want to see it.

Remy is adorable. I just want to cuddle him.

That sounds! Let's hope they eventually bring of version of robot Remy to Disney world.

I think the scene when Remy's father takes him to that rat-exterminating shop has a real profound effect, for we as human beings. I love the message the film portrays from a rat's point of view. Rats are just misunderstood animals.

Yes, the film does well in that regard. With mice you instantly think "cute" but not with rats, even though they're animals that need love to.
