Since a lot of people probably haven't heard of Petite Princess Yucie, here's a brief summary. This is the series based on the Princess Maker games (which have never been released in North America) and the writers of this series actually did a good job to develop a plot for a gamer series that's about raising a girl.
Anyway this is the brief summary fro anime news network.
Yucie, really a 17-year old stuck in a 10-year old's body (she has a curse on her), would do anything to become her age. When she hears of an oppurtunity to become a chosen Platina Princess, and then have the power to use a tiara that grants a special wish to the Platina Princess once every 1000 years, Yucie goes for it with clear determination.
The main canon pairing for this series is Yuice and the prince Archer who really have a fun interaction with each other. Near the end of the series, Yucie dreams of the wedding she and Archer would have and it's cute and funny. Mainly because Archer kisses Yucie's forehead which is something he always teases Yucie about.
