My Week

It has now been my first week of school and I got my first assignment this weekend. What's nice about this course is that I get Fridays off, so it's nice to have an extra day on weekends. I'm really enjoying my teachers, especially my Teacher Assistance one. We're reading a dry textbook at the moment but she's really trying to make it interesting by relating it to her own past experiences and tv shows. We also get great discussions going.

She did bring up a fact which I didn't know about. Did you know that North America has the highest numbers of serial killers? @_@ No one knows why this is. gullwhacker and I think it might be because violence it glorified more here then say in Europe. I do know that there are violent North American games that get heavily censored over in Europe. Still, weird huh?

This is also the last weekend before gullwhacker goes back to Waterloo for the fall term. Hopefully, after Christmas he'll be able to come home more since he'll just be working on his thesis then. On that note, tomorrow is his birthday! *girns* So, I do plan to give him a few surprises. *evil grin*

After this weekend, I want to get back on track with the projects I'm working on besides school such as the Z/A doujin I'm working on, making scans of the new Slayers Doujin I got and also a Slayers fanfic I want to get working on. *looks to dqbunny * You know the one I'm talking about. *grin* Finally, my friend Jon has shown me Firefly. I've only seen about the first 4 episodes and I'm enjoying the series. It's too bad it only got one season and screwed by the FOX network
