Winnie the Pooh
Jul. 27th, 2011 02:32 pmSo instead of going to see Harry Potter yesterday, I decided to go see the new Winnie The Pooh movie instead. XD (I will see HP at some point, probably once the crowds die down.)
Overall, it's quite entertaining. It doesn't exactly have a deep plot, but it's Winnie the Pooh. I will say the writers had fun with this movie and you can tell they put a lot of effort to make the movie fun for both the kids and parents. There are a lot of puns and jokes that a kid wouldn't get, but would make any adult chuckle.
Also, the start of the movie had a short cartoon called the Ballad of Nessie, which was about Nessie trying to find a new home after she got kicked out of her old one. It was really cute and I really liked the message it gave to kids for it. The moral basically was that it's okay for a person to cry when things go wrong. (This makes more sense in the short, trust me.)
And here's a clip just to show how fun this movie was:
