Last night, I saw the preimere of Phineas and Ferb Across the Second Dimension and I have to say it was pretty awesome. I think half the charm of the show is how many tv tropes the show tries to do on purpose and knows it and they just exploded for the money.

It was hilarious with a good story at the same time. I will say that there are some jokes people probably wouldn't get as much unless they've seen the show, but I would say that it's sill a movie worth watching.

Also, I recently bought part 1 of season one of Thundercats. With the start of the new series I thought it would be fun to make abridge review of the original series, so expect that soon.

I spent most of the movie dying of laughter over the seemingly random 80s pop-culture references.

"Wolverines!"

And Isabella kissing Phineas, and him actually expressing pleasure at her actions. And then they get the memories wiped. And the entire fandom let out a flat "WHAT."

My husband turned to me as the credits started and noted that the pair of us, at twenty-seven years old, had odd ways of spending our Friday nights.

You would probably enjoy the show, I recommend watching it when you have the chance. (Although, you can find episodes easily on youtube. Each episode is divided into two segments that are about 10 minutes long each. ^_~)

Stu and I were laughing our heads off while watching it. It may be odd, but at least it's awesome. XD The big final battle was epic.

I think the writers figured they needed to at least throw in that kiss. I kept expecting Vanessa to show up, but Stu pointed out that the really evil Dr. Doofenshmirtz probably didn't have a daughter. Plus, they might not have been room for her with all the other plot points going on.

My husband and I had also noted the decided lack of Vanessa in the episode, because I really want to know how Ferb will react when he learns that his crush is the beautiful daughter of a mad scientist bent on world domination.
