Brendala's picks for me.
1.
For those who don't know, I use to be part of an LJ RPG called Secondworld that was run bysecondlina and this icon is of my character Cara who was a fortune teller. The drawing was a bit of fanart that Isa drew for the game and I couldn't resist making an icon of it. I like using it whenever I talk about songs or music related topics.
2.
An icon for the Umineko series. I like this icon because it pretty much states the relationship between Beatrice and Battler for most of the series. I find it's good when I just need a general icon, but I will use it when I discuss Umineko or if I ever talked about mysteries in the future.
3.
This is from Gargoyle of the Yoshingas/Yoshinaga-san Chi no Gargoyle which is an anime that never got a North American release which is a shame because it's a good series. We got Gargoyle (who is often called Garkun) who talks, but his mouth never moves, plus he's voice by Norio Wakamoto which automatically makes he awesome.
The series only has 13 episodes and they are up on youtube for those who are interested

sounis community did. She basically redrew one of the best Gen and Irene scenes from the King of Attolia and I'll admit is one of my favorites too. (And yes, people did ask the artist permission to make an icon out of it just in case some were wondering.)

This is another Queen's Thief icon, I basically took the cover of the first book "The Thief" and the line "I can steal anything" is a famous line quoted by Gen the main character of the book. If you're a fantasy fan, I so recommend the Queen Thief series. It has some of the best characters written and it has a good story with it.
