As of yesterday, I'm offically done my exams!! (does a victory dance)
Mom and I spent the afternoon Christmas baking. I think I'm a lot more helpful to her now, then when I was a little kid. I'm allow to use the oven for one things and I know how to use measuring cups. We got a good start on it, but we still have to make some gingerbread men. We also made one of my favorite, "Magic Squares" that have chocolate and peanut butter chips and coconut. YUM!!
That reminds me that I learned something interesting this year. Did you know that altitude has an effect on fudge? Apparently, it effects the sugar and if the fudge recipe doesn't work with the altitude, the fudge will go grainy. My Mom learned this the hard way. Her fudge recipe was made for Maritime altitude, but when we lived in Alberta, her fudge didn't turn out well because of the different altitude.
