There's a new show that I've been watching lately called "Jane and The Dragon." It's really cute. Jane is a lady-in-waiting, but she really wants to be a knight. So then the prince gets taken by a dragon and Jane decides to go after him, but in the end she and the dragon becomes friends and she is in training to become a knight.

The show is done all in computer animation and I find it really cute. I don't know if it's in the U.S. or not, but here's something interesing. YTV (the station the show is on) is has one of the episodes on their website.

Here's the link if anyone is interested: http://www.ytv.com/programming/shows/jane_dragon/index.asp?showID=350

I just think alot of my fantasy-loving-online friend would get a kick out of seeing this. ^_~

The story looks really cute. It reminds me a lot of an old show with live people called "All Fire and Flames" that had a similar plot (a guy in a big costume was the dragon) It's kindoff a classic plot anyways. Animation looks decent and character design seems really good.

Yeah! I read somewhere that it's the same animation they used for "Lord of the Rings" and "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" although I can't say for certain.

I think it's the characters I enjoy most. Dragon just makes me laugh alot. ^_^

It looks like it's only available up in Canada for now. The story somewhat reminds me of the Dealing with Dragons book series, which is about a princess that goes to live with a dragon because she's not your usual princess at all. (She tells would-be heroes to leave when they come to 'free' her from the dragon by slaying it.) It seems to be a popular concept.

Speaking of Canadian cartoons, I wish I could watch Blazing Dragons again. I used to stay up past midnight to watch it on Toon Disney. I actually enjoyed the show quite a bit.

I got that book series for Christmas and I'm reading "Dealing with Dragons" right now! ^_^

I'm really enjoying it, although I couldn't help but giggle when I read the part with the "Stone Prince" and think of Zelgadis.

I remember Blazing Dragons, that was a good show. Sadly, it's not on teletoon anymore. I'll have to let you know it I ever see it on video/DVD sometime. ^_~

I haven't seen the show in the states yet, and I imagine it won't be on any of the big channels, except maybe Nickelodeon. Only time will tell.

I guess IMDB would know too. *peeks* Nope, they don't know. Never mind.

If the show gets really popular, they might show it on more American channels. I know that has happened in the past before. You never know.
