Since I've really gotten into fandom (around 15-16) I've found I have become much more opened minded about pairings. I like hearing people's reasons for why they like the canon pairing or prefer alternative pairings. I've also written fics with pairings I wouldn't normally write for people as gifts. (And I find it's also a good writing challenge for me.)
With that said, there is one pairing I will never write for just because it makes me greatly uncomfortable.
I don't like incest pairings, whether it's parent/child, brother/sister, or any other kinds of incest pairings, it just...makes me get squeamish. However, I do realize there are fans out there that like these kinds of pairings and I will always respect their right to like them. For me personally however, this is one type of pairing I don't think I could ever write for. It would be far too uncomfortable for me.
