Stars and Dogs

eastofthemoonIn a past post I mentioned that instead of handing out favors for the wedding, Stu and I are going to make a donation to the SPCA instead and leave milk bones tied with ribbon explaining that. (Both of our families are big dog lover so we know they'll love this idea.)
Well, yesterday, my mom got another awesome idea. At weddings people will often tap their drinks to get the bride and groom to kiss and other weddings do something more silly like a person has to sing or say a quote from Star Wars. Well, Mom made a suggestion that in order for people to get Stu and I to kiss they have to agree to make their own donation for the SPCA (which can be any amount they want) and I think this will be awesome. We'll have a jar decorated with dog stickers or something.
With this suggestion, Stu and I had the following conversation.
Me: So, I just our wedding will have a theme of stars and dogs.
Stu: So....the dog star?
Me: *hits Stu for bad pun*
Overall, I think stars and dogs are very us. XD
