Snow storm (again)

We got another big snow storm today. (sigh) I like snow, but I want it to be spring.

However, one good did come out of this. Due to the snow, the library isn't going to open until 1 pm. So, since my shift is over by 2 I don't have to go in tomorrow! ^_^ It's been awhile since I got to sleep in on a Saturday.

I'm now on March Break, so hopefully I can use the time to catch up on a few assignments for school. The scary thing is, the term will be over in a month and a half and then I'll be graduation. @_@ Although, I have to say, I'm looking forward to not having to research/write essays anymore.

In amusing news, this was on the front cover of my local newspaper yesterday. I had to scan and share




How cute is this? But, I was surprised! Seals are normally in salt water and the St. John river is fresh water. Maybe this guy is on vacation for his March Break.

Or maybe the seal found good food further inland. ^_- We get seals and sea lions that swim inland from the ocean. Even better when transient killer whales discovered where they were hiding and also swam in from the ocean to munch on them. Animals aren't the sort to restrict themselves to what man says they do and do not do. :D

Have fun on your break! (And sorry I fell silent earlier. I got hungry enough that I was getting light-headed, and the bed called soon after I had eaten. I could use a break soon myself.)
