New anime and other stuff

I think part of the blame can be placed on Saiunkoku Monogatari
It's a new anime I've been watching and it's very addicting. At first glance, it looks like it's trying to be another "Fushigi Yuugi" because there's alot of Bishie and it takes place in an Anicent China setting, but it's really different and, I think, it's a lot better.
It has a really good plot going and characters to go with it. Plus, what I really like about it is that it has a good mixture of comedy, romance, drama and adventure. There is drama, but it doesn't go over the top and it's enough to keep the series interesing.
However, what I really like about this series is the main character Shuurei. She doesn't wine or complain and she just doesn't sit and angst when something bad happens like some female characters have done in other series. She's a strong character and I just find her enjoyable. The whole first season has been posted on youtube, but be warn it's 39 episodes. So it might take awhile to watch the whole thing. I'm still working my way through it. ^_^;
I've also been working on a few drabbles, including a longer drabble that's going to be a bit of backstory for Zack from my "Slayers: Parenthood" drabble series. Eventually, I also want to write another Slayers fairytale parody. (I have an idea, I just need to sit down and actually write it.)
I got almost all of my class marks back, except for one class but I know I passed it and my graduation will be coming up in a couple of weeks. Hopefully, once that's over I'll finally find out if I'll be working at the library during the summer or not. (crosses fingers)
