Movies and Recipes
Jul. 18th, 2007 11:25 pmWell, Mom and I saw the Order of the Phoniex. It was really good. The special effects were amazing and I love Luna.
Also, got Tales of the World: Radient Mythology for my PSP. I just started it and it's very enjoy about. I was especailly happy to discover that Kratos has the same voice actor as he did in Tales of Symphonia, although, I'm sure Lloyd has a different one, but I haven't come across him yet.
I'm slowly working on some drabbles. One will be for
slayers_request and one will be for my "15 Hugs" challenge which I haven't touched in over a year. ^_^;
By the way
zenavvy Here's the recipe for those "Chocolate Oat Bars" I finally got around to typing it up.
No-Bake Chocolate Oat Bars
Ingredients:
1 cup butter
½ cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 cups uncooked quick oats
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
½ cup crunchy or creamy peanut butter
Instructions:
1. Grease 9-inch square baking pan. Melt butter in large saucepan over medium heat. Add brown sugar and vanilla; mix well.
2. Stir in oats. Cook over low heat 2-3 minutes or until ingredients are well blended. Press half of mixture into prepared pan. Use back of large spoon to spread mixture evenly.
3. Melt chocolate chips in small heavy saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally. Stir in peanut butter. Pour chocolate mixture over oat mixture in pan; spread evenly with knife or bak of spoon. Crumble remaining oat mixture over chocolate layer; press down gently. Cover and refrigerate 2-3 hours or overnight. Bring to room temperature before cutting into bars.
Makes about 2 ½ dozen bars.
