I got tagged by [livejournal.com profile] ameban the other day, so I'm finally getting around to doing this.

***♠ List seven habits/quirks/facts about yourself.
***♠ Tag seven people to do the same.
***♠ Do not tag the person who tagged you or say that you tag whoever wants to do

1. I'm a military brat. My father was a major and as a result, my family has lived in Montreal (but we moved two weeks after I was born) then got posted to Germany, then when I was four we moved back to Canada to live in Calgary, and finally when I was eight my family moved to New Brunswick.

2. I have a habit of worrying too much. ^_^;

3. I love history and I especailly like reading stories that take place during the late 19th century/early 20th century.

4. I've always loved to draw, but I didn't really get into writing until grade 9, which was around the same time I discovered fanfiction.

5. I'm a big lover of mostly wolves, but I also love dogs, foxes, cayotes, and coyotes (basically members of the canine family). Although, I will admit that I have a soft spot for snow leopards, thanks to a stuffed animal I have had since I was 5.

6. I'm dream is to be a published writer, but I work in libraries/book stores in the meantime.

7. I'm working on having my own drawing style and because of that I'm always experimenting with different techniques and styles.

I hadn't known that you've moved around so much! I've lived in the same house my whole life, though I haven't really had much desire to move anyway (excepting some of the neighbours ^^;; ). Still, it would probably be neat to see other places. And it's pretty awesome that you've been to Germany! I'm taking German classes, but I've never really been out of the province, let alone the country. XD;

LOL I've always wondered what it's like to actually live in the same house since you were born. I know it was like that for my mother. She originally came from a small town in New Brunswick.

We have quite a few things in our house that our family collected while in Germany (like X-mas decorations, etc), but truthfully, I really don't remember much of Germany. ^_^; My Mom also tells me that while in Germany, we also got to go to France, Beligum and other places for vacations.

It kind of annoys me that I went to some of the most interesting places in the world, and I barely remember anything. Someday, I would like to go back, so this time I can actually remember it.

Living in the same house for so long isn't so adventurous of course, but it's also comfortable. Heh, though if we ever moved, I'd have a lot of cleaning up to do. XD;;

I went to Quebec once, but I barely remember it as well. I know we went swimming at a pool where we needed caps, and that's about all I remember, ha.

I tend to worry too much about things, too, but you'd not know it by looking at me. When I first learned how to drive, for instance, I'd be driving along the road all calm, but internally I'd be imagining just what would happen if I suddenly turned into oncoming traffic, if I slid off the side of the road off a cliff, etc. Lovely, isn't it? Actually, such 'worst case scenarios' have helped me when I write or even think of ideas since I can see all possible aspects of something. That, and the worrying usually proves to have no point since I don't make any of these scenarios come true...but heck, even when it did last year (smashing into the back of the semi truck) I kept my cool the entire time. I think it's when you let worrying paralyze you with fear that it becomes a real problem.

(I do love wolves and all those in the canine family, but I'll always have a soft spot for cougars and their feline kin.) ^_-

LOL I'm pretty much the same way when it comes to worrying. I tend to worry too much over something and then when it actually happens I find that it's not nearly as bad as I had thought. It's like I play mind games on myself.

(Let's face it, just about anything with four paws and fur is cute. XD)
