Ayano was in heaven. What better to eat on a hot sunny day than ice cream, especially when it was lemon-flavored. She blissfully licked her cone, but halted when she noticed Kazuma smirking.
“Something amuses you?” she asked, raising an eyebrow.
“Oh, I was just noticing how much you look like a little kid while happily licking your ice cream.”
Ayano blushed. “There’s nothing wrong with that.” She took another lick to prove her point. “Besides, lemon happens to be my favorite dessert flavor.”
“Oh?” Kazuma grinned, slightly curious. “And what, pray tell, is so tasty about lemons in particular?”
“That’s easy,” Ayano sharply replied. “It’s a light flavor and it’s very refreshing.”
“Is it now?” Kazuma smirked again. “Perhaps I should try some.”
Ayano grinned. It was nice to see she had won the argument. “Yes you should. I think you would...”
Ayano was cut off as Kazuma swiftly leaned in and kissed her on the lips. She trembled and blushed redder than a tomato as Kazuma pulled back. The ice cream cone dropped from her hands. Ayano was waiting for her brain to reboot itself as Kazuma licked his lips.
“Hmm, you’re right. Lemon is a nice flavor. Maybe I’ll go for seconds.”
“KAZUMA!!”
