As of today, I no longer work at the Buck or Two store. Today was my last shift before school starts. *does a happy dance.* Overall, it wasn't a bad job, I would take it over fast food, but it was time to move on to the next stage of my life.

Title: Refused to be Silent
Day/Theme: August 17/Stop whispering; start shouting
Series: Suzumiya Haruhi
Character/Pairing: Haruhi, Kyon
Rating: G
Haruhi’s fingers drummed on the table. Out of the corner of her eye, she caught the old woman tipping her glasses and glaring at her. Again. For this was the seventh time in the last two hours.
With a growl, Haruhi pounded her fist on the table. “What is that lady’s problem?!”
Kyon groaned. He doubted that pouring all of his concentration into his math assignment would let him drown out Haruhi’s loud outcry. Why couldn’t she let him finish his homework in peace?
“She’s probably annoyed with all the shouting you’ve been doing.”
Haruhi folded her arms, giving an equal glare back to the woman. “So what? It’s a public place and a free country. I have the right to speak my mind. I can yell it to the rooftops if I feel like it. It’s a crime to silence the youth!”
The pencil snapped between Kyon’s fingers. “Haruhi, we’re in a library.”
Haruhi eyes narrowed. “So, what’s your point?”
Kyon slammed his face against the table, earning another annoyed glare from the old lady.
