Zel's siblings

After reading Kanzaka interview, Here ,in which he mentions it's possible that Zel has some siblings he doesn't know about, this crack idea came into mine.



A young beautiful girl with long black hair, long thick eye lashes, plump lips and every other lovely trademark a woman could have walked into the restauarant. She excitedly searched the room until she spotted a group eating at a table in the back. Her eyes landed on a certain blue chimera. "Zelgadis! At last I found you!"

Upon hearing the voice, the chimera twitched and almost cracked the teacup he was holding. "Not again," he muttered.

The girl skipped over, ignoring the glares she was receiving from the rest of the group. "My long lost brother, we've been reunited!"

Zelgadis shook his head grumbling. "I'm not your brother. Can't you people at least let me have a meal in peace?"

"We have so much to catch up on!" The girl exclaimed, grabbing a chair to sit in. "I will be your support for now on as you search for your cure. You'll find I understand you much better then that over perky princess does. Oh, do you want to see if we have matching birthmarks? Oh, and then I have to start my new romantic relationship with Gourry or Xellos-"

"BOMB DI WIND!"

The girl screamed long and hard as Lina's wind spell sent her flying through the roof. The group watch as she disappeared from view until she became a twinkling star.

Zelgadis sighed. "Thanks, Lina."

"Glad to be of service," Lina replied with a salute. "Man, those girls have been coming out of the woodwork lately? She was the eleventh one this week."

"Fourteenth," Gourry corrected, chewing his meatloaf. "You forgot about the twins that popped up when Zel and I were in the hot springs."

"Don't remind me," Zelgadis grumbled, blushing at the memory. "It might be time for me to get a restraining order on these girls."

Lina cut her steak. "I never would have guess you had such a large family Zel."

"I DON'T." The chimera buried his face in his hands. "I have no idea why I'm suddenly getting so many long lost sisters all of a sudden."

"Um...I think this might be the cause Mister Zelgadis." Amelia held up the magazine she was reading. "It looks like Lord Kanzaka was in another interview and he mentions it's possible you have a sibling you don't know about."

"Let me see that."

As the chimera read, Lina raised an eyebrow. "Amelia, why do you call him 'Lord' Kanzaka?"

Amelia folded her arms. "Well, he is our CREATOR Miss Lina, we have to show the man some respect."

"I'll show him respect when he makes me a queen and gives me a bigger chest."

Zelgadis growled. "Great, no wonder so many girls have been showing up. This couldn't get any worse."

"Actually, it can Zel," Gourry commented, pointing to the door.

A large group of boys brust through the door, spotted Zelgadis and yelled simultaneously "My brother!"

"See, you could get brothers too."

Zelgadis started to bang his head against the wall.



Okay, got that out of my system.

I was glad to get some more background info on the gang. We actually got a description on Lina's mother and more info on Gourry and Zel's past. I do wish that Kanzaka could write a story just on their families, like how Lina's parents met or maybe how Gourry's brother die.

The fact, that Zel grew up wandering from country to country was a amusing to me. I wonder if that makes Zel some what of a military brat like me? XD I was surprised to see kanzaka say that someday Zel does get his cure, I didn't think we would ever know for sure. However, the tidbit of the possibility of Zelgadis having a sister or brother was also surprising. I just hope we don't get a whole bunch of bad OCs because of this detail. Anyway, this info, this give me more stuff to work with that fanfic I'm slowly working on.

I can imagine one reason for hiding... Depending on how strict he was about procreation, they might have snuck off for some alone time. ^_^;; It might explain why Zelgadis is so weird about relationships with girls. Ever wonder?

Hmm...if that's the case, Zelgadis probably didn't get to date much and that would explain why he's weird with girls. ^_^;
