You know what's funny thing when you're a kid? You can be introduce and watch just about any cartoon and you rarely find it odd. No matter how odd the concept, the plot or the characters, it doesn't bug and you end up watching the cartoon about a million times and never get tired of it.

Then years past, you grow older and you forget about that cartoon, until one day you suddenly remember it. Out of curiosity, you search and dig it up. It's only then that you question and wonder "How did this make sense to me?"

In other words, I just found an old cartoon my brother and I would rent on tape over and over again called SuperTed.

Forget Superman, we had Superted! *laughs* Okay, jokes asides, I do have good memories of watching this cartoon with my brother. In fact, I think it's still a better cartoon for kids to watch when compared to some of the junk shows made today *cough*Spongebob*cough*. XP

It sounds like the spawn of a particularly random game of round robin...

Definitely better than some of the junk shoes made today. I miss the old cartoons.

Actually, that cartoon sounds fun...

LOL Yeah. It's like they said, "Okay, let's make this the most random concept for a cartoon." XD

But yeah, the older cartoons just seem to have a more..I guess innocent nature about them. There's just a certain good quality in them that you hardly find now a days.

It was a fun cartoon, the villains were amusing and just as odd. A lot of the episodes seems to be uploaded to youtube. Most of the episodes were only about 10 minutes long. XD

Oh wow, that does seem pretty crazy! I think they lost me with the space alien... Still, most cartoons do require you to suspend reality a great deal, so nothing new there. (But yes, anything is better than Spongebob. He needs to DIE.)

Yeah, it most be some special trait you only have when you're a kid to be able to not question if these things can really happen or not.

(I blame Spongebob for the current trend of cartoons needing to be senseless and too crazy.)

Haha!! I loved Superted!!!

I even had the vitamin tablets that probably weren't actually that good for you, but they were cool cause they were shaped like him. And I still remember going to the dentist and there was a poster on the wall with him and the other guy (I'm embarrassed at not remembering his name) going on about how you always need to brush your teeth.

And now I'm reminded of Bananaman!

Oh cool! I didn't know there were vitamin tablets of him. If I had seen them I probably would have ask my mother if we could have them. XD I believe this cartoon was originally from the UK wasn't it?

I have heard of Bananaman but I haven't watched him. It looks like it's just as crazy and funny though. XD

Super Ted?

I seem to remember reading that the Super Ted cartoons were made in Wales and originally released in Welsh for Welsh kids to have something non English to watch, to help teach and presereve the language. Later they were re-released in English for the English kids.
