I saw Bolt today, and I already can't wait to see it again with
gullwhacker
I won't post any spoilers, since it only came out yesterday and I don't want to ruin it for people who haven't seen it yet.
However, I will say this, it's worth seeing twice. The animation is good, the characters are lovable, and it has a good plot. What I love most about the movie though is how well it was able to catch the natural characteristics of dogs, cats and even hamsters. I saw so many traits of my dog in Blot, especially when Penny picked him up in her arms and he's still growling to protect her. (I've lost count on how many times Abby has done that XD).
All the characters are fun, I even found myself attached to Penny, which is good considering she does not have a large role in the movie besides worrying over Bolt. But then again, what dog lover couldn't relate to the fear of their dog going missing or any pet owner for that manner. On that note, my mother and I found ourselves getting a little teary eyed near the end because it was so touching. Although, this might because we were both thinking of our own little "Bolt" at home. Needless to say, my dog got a couple of extras pats and hugs tonight.
I can't decide which is my favorite character. I think it's an equal tie between Bolt and Mittens, but Rhino comes in a close second. They were all funny and charming in their own way.
In short, I recommend Blot for anyone, especially for any pet owner, past or present. Also, I will never underestimate the abilities of a hamster ever again. XD

UPDATE! Bolt has arrived, and he is adorable!! If all goes well, I'll go in to work early disguised as a guest so that I can grab a couple plushes! The shelf I saw of them at work today was empty by the end of the night!
