secondlina for this fic. I have found a new pairing to ship. XD Also, this is really a Valentine's Day fic and I know it's rather early for that, but I couldn't wait to post this. ^_~
Title: Where is My Valentine?
Characters: Carmen/Waldo

Carmen thanked the mailman as she signed for the package and closed the door. She tore off the paper, like it was the wrapping paper for a great-aunt’s sweater and sighed at the contents.
“Diamonds, again?” She tossed the box into the pile of pearl necklaces, gold earrings, rings and a couple of treasure chests. Carmen didn’t brag about her beauty, but she was certainly confident in her looks. However, people didn’t realize how annoying being attractive could be. She pulled the hat over her eyes as she climbed the stairs.
Everywhere, thousands of men would try to send her presents and those fortunate enough to actually locate her would try to dazzle her with riches that would make any normal woman faint or have a heart attack upon seeing.
“How clueless can men be?” she thought, tugging at her hat. “I’m Carmen Sandiego, I could steal the Eiffel tower if I felt like it. Why would I want trinkets that I can steal myself?” She turned the knob to her door. “There has only ever been one thing a man can truly give me-”
Carmen’s broke free of her thoughts as she gazed into her room. The room was piled high to the sky with regular red and white striped valentines. The floor was covered with a thick blanket of hearts.
An amused smile curled on her lips as she spied the note pinned to the wall.
See if you can find my Valentine.

Carmen titled her head and picked up one of the Valentines as she began her search. Waldo was the only man to figure out what she truly desired - a challenge. Not even the riches of the lost city of Atlantis could compare to this. What more could a woman ask for?
