Sunshine!

We have sunshine today and the snow is actually melting. It FINALLY feels like spring has arrived and I've been laughing at my dog whose been laying in warm sunny spots on the floor. I've lived through some harsh winters, but this year was really long, or it at least felt like that. It's feel so good to see the sun again.

I'm looking forward to my next couple of weekends. This Sunday, I'm going to see Hairspray on stage. I saw and enjoyed the movie, so I can't wait to see the original Broadway production. Needless to say, I've been playing the movie soundtrack all week in the car.

Then, the next weekend after, it's not only my birthday, but Stu will be home for Easter. So, that will be a nice birthday present for me. XD As a bonus, since my birthday is on Easter Monday, I won't have school on that day. It's nice to know I don't have to spend my birthday at school and I can spend it all day with Stu. ^_~

Edit: Forgot to add, I've been watching a bit of Black Jack lately. Why? I'm not quite sure. It might be because it carries a certain charm that you can only find in classic series.

Or it has a far too addicting opening song.

It's definitely starting to feel like spring now! I think we all missed the sun. ^^ Today has probably been the nicest day so far; the weather is absolutely gorgeous today.

Oh, that reminds me, I'd better stop fawning over the cat for a bit and work on your birthday present. ~.^

The weather keeps going back and forth here. If not for the sudden invasion of robins we had, I'd not be holding out for spring. As it is, I'll be Spring-ing out of here to return to a land where Spring is a common thing. Sounds like your weekend this coming Easter is going to be a lot of fun! I'll hopefully be unpacked and geared up to get sewing so I can send you a belated gift. ^_-

This Easter is going to be a bit crazy since my grandmother, my cousin, my aunt and her boyfriend are also planning to visit the same weekend. It's going to be the most people we've ever had for Easter.

Cool! And take you're time, there's no rush. It will give me something to look forward to. ^_~

I just wanted to let you know that there's currently a poll running on the community to gauge interest in getting the Saiunkoku Monogatari light novels translated into English. The number of answers in the poll could very well determine whether or not we ever see an English version of the novels.
