Packing and Avatar Puppets

I am now done my big final project for school! ^_^

Now I can spend the week concentrating on packing for anime north. I can't wait for Thursday.

Also, a new Avatar puppets and it's very hilarious. XD

For you guys who haven't watched Avatar yet, you don't need to watch the show to understand this video and there are no spoilers for the show in this episode. It's mainly about Toph addressing an important issue...proper pronunciation of characters' names.

I'm surprised by the number of people who mess up character names. It makes me wonder when they watch the anime what they are actually listening to, because surprise surprise, they often pronounce the names themselves.

Also, it sucks I won't be able to make it to anime north with you guys. I had a lot of fun last year and I really thought we might go again this year but it's just not been possible. Have lots of fun, and keep those Slayers fans in check, we need our knowledgeable people to keep them all in line with the truth!

*nods* It also reminds me a bit of the "Ameria" and "Amelia" debate the Slayers fans had years ago.

I wish you guys were able to come up again this year too. Maybe next year, or the year after that. Anyway, at least we know it wasn't the last group meeting. we'll definitely have to meet up again sometime soon. ^_~

Also, don't worry, we'll make sure those slayers fans are kept in check. Hopefully, it won't resort to me taking over a Slayers panel again like last year. ^_^;

I apparently had some of the names they mentioned in that video wrong, but I think it's a little justified since they were from series I'd never seen. But yeah, if someone's actually watching the show, how would they get it wrong?

I'll really miss all of you who won't be making it this year, but like Joanne said, this won't be our last! We'll all meet up again someday. ^__^
