Slayers Abridged Review Episode 7
Feb. 23rd, 2009 02:44 pmHere's my next review. Boy I had a lot this time.

The episode starts off with the gang having a sleepover. Hey, how come nobody braided Gourry or Lina's hair?

Ozel wins the award for most creative cleaning methods.

Amelia and Zel play chess.

Lina and Gourry prove that they always have food on the brain.

Ozel is slowly gaining a large fanbase. Watch out for those fanboys Ozel, they're scary.

Ozel has jar issues...

Amelia beats Zelgadis at chess much to the amusement to Z/A fans.

The ancient question is asked. "Which taste better, an apple or an orange?"

Amelia is in bondage, AGAIN!!

Amelia then decides she has had it with the creepy fanservice the series keeps putting her in and takes matters in her own hands. You go girl!!

Zel heals Amelia and the Z/A fandom simultaneously melts.

Tsk, tsk Radok. You're dirty Ozel's nice clean carpet with your ominous foreshadowing. Didn't your mother teach you to wipe your feet before entering a house?

Date: 2009-02-23 07:15 pm (UTC)It almost feels like this episode was telling the fans who complained about lack of A/Z interaction in episode 6 to be a bit more patient. ^^; That said, this episode was pretty awesome, from the little character moments to the action scenes! I kind of want Lina and Gourry to adopt Pokota if he doesn't get his human body back. XD
Being discreet: Radok's doing it wrong! Does anybody else think he's way too obvious? I would think his voice would be different...I mean, Lina recognized Zuuma's voice before he showed himself in episode 5.

Date: 2009-02-23 07:59 pm (UTC)True, but it's definitely too obvious that Radok is Zuuma. As for what else is going on, there's definitely more to it--which we might get to glimpse a bit in the next episode, by the looks of the preview.

Date: 2009-02-23 07:46 pm (UTC)Pokota staying with Lina and Gourry for good? I could see that, with Pokota taking on the little brother-type role that Lyos had in Knight of Aqualord.
