Slayers abridged Review Episode 9
Mar. 9th, 2009 05:32 pmFirst day back to school. *sigh* Is it June yet?
Anyway, here it is and brace yourselves, it's a long one.

Ladies and Gentlemen! We are about to have the ultimate duel between Pokota

And Zelgadis! And who knows how much drama and angst this will cause...

No wait! False alarm.

Zel grabs the jar and yells at it. Insert family drama here.

Rezo's soul then wakes up to make it rain...

So he could sparkle properly. So, that's how Zel was able to sparkle back in episode 4. It's a family trait!!

Then we get which could be read as some Ozel/Rezo hinting?

Then Rezo proves...

That he enjoys...

To yank...

The gangs chain a lot. Zel, was he like this when you were growing up?

And something random CHIBIS!!

Some of the bandits make a plan to steal the jar. *snort* Yeah, this will end well.

And as predicted, Lina won't let them take it.

So the bandit leader has a master plan...

Create a whole bunch of jars to confuse the gang. How will our genius heroine solve this great mind problem?

LINA SMASH!!

Then near the end, the blind boy (who wasn't that much connected to the episode's plot) is cured by Rezo and can see. The audience goes "AAAWWW!!"

And we get ominous foreshadowing/more Rezo and Ozel hinting. I smell a new pairing is being born. Sorry Abel!!

Rezo, you're such a weirdo. *giggle*

Date: 2009-03-09 09:08 pm (UTC)If anything else, this episode proves Rezo has a wrapped sense of humour. I wonder if Zel had to deal with this when he was a kid.

Rezo has an odd way to show love for his grandson. XD

Date: 2009-03-12 01:33 am (UTC)I love Rezo's sense of humor. XD It's so kooky. I also love the hints of family drama with Zegladiss, and the wibble-lip-worthy curing of the blind boy. Classic Slayers right there, that whole combo of zany and touching.
