The Return of the Voice actors

Yesterday, it was revealed that Lisa Ortiz, Vericona Taylor, Eric Stuart and Crispin Freeman have been cast for the dubbing of Slayers Revolution/Evolution-R. I was thrilled to hear this, especially since when I first watched Slayers I watched the dub. So, I just can't imagine anyone else voicing these characters.
However, Xellos was recast, but that doesn't surprise since it's been years since David Moo had done anything as far as I Know. I don't mind this as much, besides apparently Xelos is being voice by one of the best voice actors in the business Michael Sinterniklaas. I've seen this guy and he is good. He did the voice of Leo in the 2003 series of Ninja Turtles, so I'm curious to see how he handles Xellos.

The other advantage to Funi releasing Slayers that another fan pointed out to me, is that we may get the first 12 episodes at once. Lately, they've been releasing anime series in two parts. Part 1 has the first half and a few months later, they release the last half. Some examples include, Ouran Host High School, RomeoxJuliet and Pumpkin Scissors. So, it would be nice if that's what they plan to do for Slayers.

Now, if only they'll announce that Dan Green will be voicing Wizer. ^_~

Even though I do watch the sub 99.9% of the time I watch the first three seasons, after I listened to Premium dubbed it made me really miss the original cast. Lisa Ortiz gets Lina's character. She knows how she thinks, she understands how she feels, and she knows how important Gourry is to Lina. Eric Stuart is Gourry! He does such a wonderful job of sounding sweet but unaware that it pained me hearing someone else make Gourry sound like a punk. I still remember how awesome he sounded when he declared having used "the Gourry Bomb" in TRY, so he could sound threatening, too. I don't think anything needs to be said about Crispin Freeman, aside from him bringing some sense of dignity and grace to Zelgadis. Veronica Taylor may go really high at times, but she gave Amelia that burst of energy she's known for, but she also convinced me she could do drama just as well.

I'm completely neutral on Xellos. He doesn't have an extensive speaking part anyway, so whether or not the new guy does a great job, we won't be hearing him all the time anyway. Now it's Pocota I really want to know about. He will be a prominent figure, so I hope he's cast well. Same goes for Rezo...

That's exactly how I feel about the main cast. They just understood the characters so well.

I am wondering if they'll get Kelly Mansion for "Nama" or if they'll recast her. She did captured Naga's laugh rather well.

It was posted in the theslayers community, but so far, besides main cast and Michael no one else has been confirmed. A lot of us are hoping Dan Green will voice Wizer. XD

Dan Green is a well know voice actor, if you type he's name on wiki or youtube a lot of stuff should show up.

He's most well know role is playing Yugi/Yami from the Yugioh series. I can just see him play Wizer so well.
