*blinks* Okay, I'm not a big fan of Fairy Odd Parents. I think it was amusing when it first aired, but for the last few years, it feels like the writers have run out of good ideas. What annoys me most abut the show is how a lot of the characters fell victim to flanderization However, I don't watch this show anymore and I don't really care much about it.

With that said was this really necessary? To sum it up, they're making a live action version of Fairy Odd Parents with Timmy with 23 years old and STILL in the fifth grade because he doesn't want to grow up. (I'm guessing he must have made a wish or something.) Am I the only one thinking this is just dumb?

*sighs and goes to find something good like more Korra fanart*

I liked Fairly Oddparents before it went downhill, too.
Fun story: I once met Darrin Norris (voice of Cosmo and Timmy's Dad) at a con and asked him to do Cosmo's voice. He projected it so loudly that it was heard throughout the convention center! That man is amazing! Just wanted to say it.
/end fangirl moment

*ahem* Anyway, I heard that a Fairly Oddparents movie was in the works. But I never imagined the plot would be that dumb! Basically, Timmy has to choose between being a 23-year-old, 5th grade loser living at home and getting laid! That's the plot for this kiddie movie? Good Lord! O_o
And of course, he's only motivated to change his loser ways because Tootie grew up hot. There's a great basis for an adult relationship! :P

I have to wonder...will Cheryl Hines and Jason Alexander simply be shrunk to fairy size? Or they be given hideous CGI makeovers so their proportions match Cosmo and Wanda's? >_<

That's cool you got to chat with the voice actor. Even if the show has gone downhill, you got to give credit to the voice acting.

Yup, that's the plot. Mind boggling isn't? Did we really need a live action version of the show? It's just going to seem weird to me and what a great lesson for children. Relationships should be judged on looks alone, not personality. @_@

It wasn't so much "chatting" as "giggling like a dumbass while asking him to sign my stuff". My sister and I had never seen a picture of him and we were surprised to discover that he is REALLY hot in person! ^_^;

The movie's other message seems to be "Getting a girlfriend should be the ONLY motivation to grow up and leave your parents' house". Either way, not really a good message for the little ones.

Fairy Odd Parents could have been a really interesting adaptation. But this kinda shows immaturity in the scenario (a good laughs out of patheticness?)

There are so many better plot ideas they could have done for a live action version instead of this. I guess they assume no matter the idea they're going to make money? (see you in 24 hours)
