Day #12: Your favorite villain song

I use to have a read along story for 101 Dalmatians as a kids and on this tape, as a bonus it put on the full original version of Cruella de Vil and Dalmatian Plantation, so I use to be able to hum the full version of Cruella de Vil. I really love this whole scene from 101 Dalmatian. For one thing, it's such a good introduction to Cruella herself, you can tell right away she's going to cause a lot of problems for both the Dalmatians and Anita and Roger.

Also, I love how Roger is still trying to mock Cruella upstairs and then comes up and acts silly and then gives Anita that kiss. I just think that last part is really sweet. Also, the song has a good chance of staying in your head. Roger is good as what he does. XD

I love this song! It's a lot of fun to sing. Kind of interesting how Roger writing and releasing this song worked in the movie, but if it was done in real life he would be accused of libel, slander, defamation, etc. Cruella could potentially have sued! Oh well. It's still a great song. ^_-;

(I love the whole relationship between Roger and Anita, especially the scene when he does keep singing the song at her. Anita paved the way for making it okay to call your loved one lovely things like "idiot". Lina's got nothing on her!)

How about we assume Cruella has no money to sue because she keeps spending it on furs. The De Vile hall was in bad condition. It wouldn't surprise me if she was in fact heavily in debt. She seemed to be the kind of person to buy regardless of the consequences.

(Roger and Anita are so adorable together and their first meeting is always fun for me to watch every time. I think what I like about them is that they're a very real couple and they're fun to watch.)
