Day #14: Your favorite kiss



This is probably Disney's most famous kiss and Lady and the Tramp is probably my favorite older Disney classics. I've lost count on how many parodies and references I've seen to the Lady and the Tramp kiss. Heck, I even remember people joking about Lina and Gourry fighting over a fish in the first episode of Try being their "Lady and Tramp kiss" XD

It's such a cute kiss, and yes I realize dogs can really kiss, but it's still cute to watch these two eat the same noodle and meet at the end. It's probably one of the most memorable scenes in this movie.

This really is the cutest kiss. It's no surprise this became one of the most iconic Disney moments ever.
And I'm one of those people who think the fish scene in TRY is Lina and Gourry's "Lady and Tramp moment". ~_^


Fun story: One time me and one of my gal pals were eating at an Italian restaurant. She ordered spaghetti and I suggested we get a picture of us eating the same noodle à la Lady and the Tramp. The waitress looked at us like we were crazy, but it was still a lot of fun to try it in public. We were giggling about it for days! LOL

I always think Lady and the Tramp whenever I see that scene of Lina and Gourry. I recall someone even did an icon of it way back when.

That sounds like fun. I should try that with Stu sometime. XD

That whole entire scene is great anyway, from the accidental kiss to Tramp, who doesn't have food as readily available to him as Lady, offers her the last meatball anyway. It is a very romantic scene, considering these are "just dogs" we're watching.

Hey, quick question! Did you ever see Tramp in 101 Dalmatians? I never noticed until I saw it (on a large screen) the other night with my nieces, but Disney snuck him in!

Yup, him and few other dogs from Lady and the Tramp are in it. In the petshop, off in the corner it's Peggy, remember the girl dog who sings "He's a tramp." There are a few references to Lady and the Tramp in that movie.

Oh yeah, Peg is way too blatant to miss. Even the bulldog in the same pet shop looks like the one that was in the pound with her.
