I thought Ozel/Abel was cute and it would be adorable to see Abel try to ask Ozel on a date. Poor girl would probably have a hard time understanding the concept.

Even if the hinting was small Abel did seem to have a crush on Ozel. It's just too bad they didn't work out since well Abel died and Ozel is a doll who was "died" technically speaking. Plus, there's also the fact she wasn't a real human, but then again she wouldn't have been the first doll character I've seen in love.

I actually did see another series where an android (disguised to look like a very attractive woman) actually became more human when she started to grasp what human love truly was. Given Ozel's tendency to want to learn about humans, it makes me wonder if she would have become more human the longer she studied them.

Regardless, this is one of the few times in Slayers we've seen a character so obviously being attracted to another in a short time. Then again, that commercial break picture of Abel clutching his diary didn't help! ^_-

Good choice here. If I hadn't known Abel's fate, I would have thought that there was definitely something there. Even if Ozel wasn't a doll though, her objective would have gotten in the way.
