Disney Thirty Days #2
Aug. 3rd, 2010 02:05 pmDay #2: Your favorite princess

I hard a hard time choosing between Belle and Tiana, but in the end I thought I should go my favorite Disney princess in my childhood. Out of the all the princesses, Belle was probably the one I could relate to the most. As a kid, I liked how she had brown hair like me and was also a major bookworm. I always wanted to be able to do Belle's trick of reading and walking at the same time without bumping into anything at the start of the movie. That would be a handy skill.
Plus also, I liked the aspect that even though she was beautiful Belle felt like an outsider just like the beast. They didn't bring up the issue again later in the movie, but she and Beast did have a good chat about that in the broadway musical. She's also stubborn and knows how to fight back. How many arguments did she get into with the Beast? That's quite a feat when you consider that most people would just barely able to say a word due to being so frightened.
