"Something wrong, dearie?" the sea witch asked. "Did the illusion spell not work?"
"On no!" the sailor replied. "They saw me as a woman, so I pretend to be a chambermaid, got into the castle and saved the mermaid just fine."
"Then what is the problem?"
The sailor sighed. "When the illusion wore off...I was sad..I think? Being seen as a woman just felt right!"
"Ah," the sea witch said slowly. " there might be a reason for that."
