First Craft

From the From the craft meme snapdragon76 asked me to make her a draw string pouch for her gaming dice. Well, I just finished making it!



I put star beads at the end of the ribbon. I had originally thought of using white fabric paint to pain little stars on the bag, but now I'm wondering if it might be too much.

Anyway, I hope you like it snapdragon76 Let me know if you want to add more stars to it. ^_~

Personally, I think painting stars on would be too much, since the bag is going to get used and abused. The stars might not survive. (Being the owner of a dice bag myself.) In the future, it's a good idea to either go with printed fabrics, or perhaps appliqué something on. (Which can easily be done with fabrics like felt or fleece, since they won't fray on you.)

I will get printed fabric next time for myself, but I had these scraps of nice dark blue fabric that just looked perfect for a dice bag. Thanks for the tips! ^_^

Oh good! I was worried the stars would make it too girly for a dice bag. I'm glad you like it. ^_^ Once I made a few other things, I'll send them all off at the same time. ^_~
