I Want To See This Movie

Check it out, someone did a subtitled version of the La Seine song from the upcoming French movie "A Monster In Paris" I REALLY there's a subtitled release of this movie, if anything else just so I can hear the movie with the original voice actors.

I had heard a rumor that this movie has already been dubbed by some of the original VAs (or at least the lead female VA). Who knows if they'll actually release it that way though. I'd MUCH prefer a subtitled film.

I hope that rumor isn't true. They did that with the movie Persepolis and that dub was a disaster!
In Persepolis, the French actress who played Marjene (the main character) in the original played her in the English dub. Her acting was fine; but she had a VERY heavy French accent that the other voice actors (who were mostly Americans) didn't have. And, worst of all, the actress who played Marjene as a child in the beginning of the movie was clearly American and had no trace of a foreign accent. And then the movie flashes forward to Marjene as a teenager and all of a sudden she has this heavy French accent! It completely takes you out of the movie and it's confusing as hell. Thank goodness I watched it in French first! >_<

I REALLY hope this movie gets a subbed art house release here. I would gladly drive to Los Angeles just to see this on the big screen in it's original language.
