Muppets and Trip!

Last Tuesday, I bought "The Muppet Show" season one on DVD. OMG! It's so cool! I remember alot of the scenes, but it feels like I'm watching new episodes because I don't remember most of them. I'm a Muppet girl! I can't and won't deny it. I have to say the Jim Henson was truly a master of his art. It's just amazing how alive his characters seem to be, when they're just made of felt.

One of the most interesting features of the DVD is that there's an "info opition." While you watch the episodes, boxs of information will pop up explaining why the characters look different, info on the guest stars, A LOT of information on Jim Henson, etc.. It's a bit like those pop up boxes that will play during a music video, only there's no sound to the muppets ones. So, you don't hear that annoying "pop" sound each time.

Also, on Monday I'm heading down to Maine to do some shopping and I won't be back until Wednesday. I just thought I would mention that, in case anyone was wondering where I was. I'm mostly going on an anime hunt. in other words, to find anime that hasn't gotten to the local store and usually means I have to order it for it to come in. ^_^;;

And I've heard of Americans making a prescription drug run to Canada, but a Canadian making a run to America for anime?

LOL That's nothing! 2 years ago my mother got awhole bunch of of low caloire salad dressing she loved that was only avaliable in the States. Recently, she got some Diet soda she really like when she and her friends went down for a day. ^_^;

They never tell you these things here. All I ever hear about is Americans going north to get cheap drugs. (Hopefully that'll stop.) I shouldn't have been surprised though...although it is surprising people like American food. You guys get all the English foods, which taste much better in my opinion! (Although ketchup flavored potato chips? I wonder how well those would sell down here.) ^_-
