New Thundercats Community? What do you think?

I've looked around on lj, and while there's a community for the original Thundercats series, there doesn't seem to be one made one that focuses on the new reboot.

I'm currently debating if I should go ahead and make a new community for the series myself or just be content with making my reviews. What do you guys think?

That would be awesome! ^_^ I think it's easier to run communities if you have more than one moderator to run it.

I've been trying to decide what to name the community. Thundercats_reboot? Or maybe just call it "Whiskers" in honour of Lion-O's new catch phrase.

Or why not Thundercats_2011 or Thundercats2011?

It may be easy to find in search engines then. (Even though that's so unoriginal.)

Yeah, we should probably go "Thundercats2011" so it's easier to find, even though it's not as a fun name.

Maybe we can make "Whiskers" a banner for it or something.

Yep. And I can make a layout sometime for it. Probably not right a way though. We'll have to set up basic rules and such for what they can and can't post in the comm.

Alright. I may wait to make a matching banner to the layout that we may use. Is there a certain layout style that you like to use for comms?

I'm fine with just about anything really, I'm not too picky. Just as long as it's easy for people to find the links to the profile and such anything is fine for me. ^_^

We also need to enforcing tagging. I'm not a big fan of memories (though unless it's something absolutely dedicating to the community in general or something that needs to be memorized by it's fans).

Agreed! I just went through adding tags to the community. It's just so much easier to find things with tags.

I'm also thinking that if people post links to where they can watch/download the latest episodes online they should be under locked members posts.

I'm also debating if we should state out right that people can not post adult material or they can post it but it has to be under an lj-cut with a warning at the top. What do you think? You know this is going to pop up eventually.
