Muppets for the Oscars

Okay, I think this is an awesome idea.

Since Eddie Murphy pulled out of hosting the Oscars, there is now viral campaign to get the Muppets to host the oscars.

I already added their twitter account to my following. I realize this is a long shot, but it would be awesome to see Kermit, Piggy and all the other Muppets hosting the oscars. *crosses fingers

Maybe next year they can have the Muppets host. It would be really awesome, and really, a great way to maybe bring the Oscars back into family fare rather than the raunch-fests they have been.

That said, I am excited to have Billy Crystal back as host. I always loved his medleys for Best Picture.
