I just watched the latest MLP episode "Mare Do Well."

I noticed some fans were annoyed by Rainbow Dash's ego this episode, but I think that can be partly blamed on the fact that the last episode was also a Rainbow Dash's ego out of control one.

I did really enjoy it though. I won't give spoilers, but I was squeeing over the Batman the animated series references. Not only did some ponies hold posters that looked similar to the image used for the Batman ending credits, but Mare Do Well's theme music sounds VERY similar to the Batman theme music.

Yeah, I think this episode would have been better received if last week's episode didn't also have a "Rainbow Dash acts like an arrogant jerk" plot.

I liked this episode. But it makes me wonder if the girls will keep taking turns playing superhero. I mean, at this point they kinda HAVE to (someone has to make sure all of Equestria's babies don't fall off that cliff!!). XD
