Merry Christmas Eve

eastofthemoonI worked yesterday, and while the store was busy everyone was in a good mood, so it was a good day.
My copy of Jim Henson's The Storyteller graphic novel and I'm very gleeful. Any fairytale lover would love this comic (especially you![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
secondlina ) It has The Crane Wife, The Witch Baby, a great version of Puss in Boots, etc and heck even the dog gets to tell a story in this. Each story has a different art style (because each story has a different artist) and it really works. The art for Puss in Boots is gorgeous, and Katie Cook does the art for The Crane Wife. All, in all, I had to wait for this book, but I'm glad.
In other news, we got a nice snowfall yesterday, so for the first time in a few years my place as a white wonderland to stare out the window. (Stu is especially gleeful, he's been wanting it to snow for ages)
Stu and I are going to exchange presents tonight, and open our family gifts tomorrow. I've also been put in charge of the Christmas dinner dessert, which is a cookie log. I'll try to post the recipe for it later. It's really good.
