I had the day off today and I ended up doing some sketching. This is basically what I'm thinking of writing once I get my steampunk novel done. I've always loved the story of Puss In Boots (even way before the Dreamworks character came out) and I've always wanted to do my own version.

So far my plot is this, Puss here was once a young man that made the mistake of trying to trick a witch and as punishment she turned him into a cat. I haven't quite figured out the reasoning, but Puss has to get a miller's son to be king in order to be turned back into a human. Also, the boots he gets are seven league boots. They use to belong to the miller's son, but Puss trick him into giving the boots to him.

I have the vague idea of where I want the plot to go, but I need to work out the details of it. Anyway, here's the sketch of Puss and a quick sketch of his human version.
