Ninja Flash Back

eastofthemoonFor nostalgia purposes, I felt like watching the Ninja Turtles movie and of course, Stu was with me. This movie aged pretty well I got to say. Sure there are some cheesy bits that proves it was a 90s movie, but the turtles created by the Jim Henson's Creature Shop were impressive for their time.
However, apparently Stu didn't know the turtles as well as I did growing up because we have the following conversation.
Stu: Which turtle is which again?
Me: *blinks* Leonardo is blue, Raphael is red, Donatello is purple, and Michelangelo is orange.
Stu: Okay, and the red one is the leader.
Me: What? No, that's Leonardo.
Stu: Huh, but red is always the leader in Power Rangers. Don't I have at least that colour code to rely on?
Me: Not in ninja turtles.
Stu: *sigh*
