Bridal Shower
Mar. 24th, 2012 10:29 amToday, I had a VERY busy day. My future mother-in-law threw me a bridal shower and both my grandmother and my aunt from Nova Scotia came up for it.
It was really fun, although at first I felt a little awkward being the center of attention (I can't imagine why some people think I'm similar to Fluttershy) however the games my mother brought really helped break the ice and I relaxed quite a bit. I got some lovely gifts and I can't believe I'm suppose to get more for the wedding too!
I should also explain that here in the Maritimes, there is a tradition that at a bridal shower the bride-to-be has to wear a bow bonnet, which is a hat that is made out of the bows from the bridal shower presents.
So, here is me wearing the bow bonnet

I should also state that they do this for baby showers too. I can hear all of you guys laughing. XD
Also, the person next to me is my mother for those who are wondering. ^_~
Overall, it was really fun.
I'm also currently debating if I want to watch the new Korra episode that KorraNation has released.
A part of me is tempted to watch it now, but the other part of is thinking that if I watched the episodes now I have to wait a WHOLE MONTH before I can see another new episode. (Plus, the actual air date is the weekend of my birthday so it would double as a birthday treat to myself.)
Decisions, decisions.Course, I have the new season of Thundercats to keep me occupied until the new episodes of Korra are out
