Cake Class Yay!

eastofthemoonBeen awhile since I made a proper post so here goes.
First off, I've decided that I've been procrastinating on my steampunk novel too long. So, to motivate myself Stu has offered to buy me something if I'm able to get my rough draft done by Christmas. It's something I wouldn't normally buy and I'm leanings towards a Fluttershy t-shirt at welovefine that I've had my eye on for awhile, but I'm still debating. Hopefully, this will help me get my novel done finally. Then, I can just do editing and start more on my Puss in Boots novel.
Still working on my next Zelgadis Inverse drabble, I should have it done at some point soon. I'm having a lot of fun writing this one.
Also, my mother and I are going to be taking a decorating cake class together at my store. Since I work there I can take the class for free, but I never found a big reason to take it. Plus, you need to bake cakes to decorate and I didn't want to risk gaining weight from those cakes before the wedding. ^_^; The other reason was that I would feel awkward taking it by myself.
However, that changed when I mentioned it to my mother and then she told me "Oh, I wouldn't mind taking that, that sounds like fun!"
So, I looked up the dates for her and she decided to sign up for the August class. Since she was going to take it anyway, I decided to sign up with her. The funny thing is that the last class is going to be on Stu's birthday, so he might end up with two cakes by the time we're done. XD
