Chocolate war

eastofthemoonI learned something very amusing in history class today.
During the in Canada, during the 1920s, there was such a thing called "The Chocolate Bar War" It was a time in which both teenagers and children banded together to boycott chocolate and protested against it. (Including right here in my home town)
The reason?
Because the price of chocolate bars was raised from 5 cents to 8 cents.
XD Guess it goes to show you shouldn't get between a kid and his/her chocolate.
