Couple Meme

I wasn't tagged, but I wanted to go this.
1. Zelgadis/Amelia
One Word: Opposite
They were my first fandom couple I really got into from the first anime series I ever seriously watched. I'm not sure when I started to have them as my favorite, but I guess one of the things that most appeal to me was that they were almost complete opposite to each and yet Zel and Amelia complete each other. To me, they prove that opposites do attract.
2. Lina/Gourry
One Word: Partners
I love how you can see throughout the series how Lina and Gourry's realtionship changes from strangers to being being partners that will never seperate. My favorite part is when they can perdict and read each others thought with no real words being said, like during next when they were fighting Halciform. If they doesn't prove a close realtionship, I don't know what does.
3. Danny/Sam
One Word: Trust
I liked the realtionship between Danny and Sam (From Danny Phantom) the moment I laid eyes on them. I'm not sure why I love this couple so much, but it might because they have a real friendship with each other and because of that they really do trust each other. They both know they can depend on each other if there is trouble of they need help. This can also be said for Lina/Gourry, so the fact that they remind me of them could be another reason why I enjoy watching them so much.
4. Zuko/Katara
One Word: Surprise
I must admit, when I started to watch Avatar: The Last Airbender, I never imagined that Zuko/Katara would be my favorite couple. It totally took me by surprise. The reason I like them so much is probably because they remind me so much of Zelgadis/Amelia. They're opposites but they can easily complete each other. I guess I'm just a sucker for the bad boy and good girl scenario.
5. Aang/Toph
One Word: Balance
I liked Aang a lot as a character, there weren't any pairing with him that appealed to me. I did think Katara/Aang cute, but I still thought he could be paired off better plus I couldn't see Katara liking Aang more than she would for a little brother at the moment (in a couple of years probably, but not now.) Then Toph came along. I thought that Toph's tough attitude was the perfect balance for Aang's bouncy personality. Although, they are both too young to have a serious reatlionship, I think they are at the right age to have a very close friendship that could easily led into something much more for them. Right now, a little puppy love is good for both of them.
